Spring has sprung in Kelowna, so here's a couple of photos capturing what exactly that looks like in the valley.....
Gazillions of yellow forsythias go mad for a couple of weeks
A view down the freshly green orchard terraces to our area of Kelowna - if you can make out a white blob at the right end of the photo, then yes, you have spotted our lakeshore apartment building :-)
Despite Kelowna's growth boom in the last 5-10 years, there is still a lot of orchard land across the terraces above the lake - cherries, apples, pears, peaches, apricots - hmm, give it a couple of months and we will start seeing the spoils at the local Farmers Market.......

Yellow flowers...green grass...blue skies....spring looks great in Kelowna! Imagine your rather snowy camping trip and that is about what we have here still! There is fresh snow on the ground this morning and more rain and snow forecast for the next week! Where is spring? I think it has snuck over to Kelowna and forgotten about little Norway :-)
Anyway, enough moaning from me, have a great spring guys! Looking forward to some more blog entries about what you are up to.

We had some nice weather a few weeks ago, sorry Em but I sent it straight to Kelowna because they were next on the list!
You have to book it in. Obviously the Norwegians haven't worked out how yet.
